| The Hyde Park and Kenwood Interfaith Council Open Kitchen, founded in 1968 at the Kenwood United Church of Christ, presently serves more than one hundred free, nutritous lunches five days a week. The Open Kitchen is administered by a volunteer oversight committee and several local congregations alternate cooking duties. | |
